[STR New] Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2409 Version: 1.3-feature Opening this on behalf of others; as per the recent thread on fltk.development, subject "Fl_Group::clear SLOW! -- NOT solved (yet)" Apparently some new changes introduced while fixing STR #1894 have caused Fl_Group::clear() to act slowly in situations where there are many children. Albrecht had some interesting observations in a post from Tue Aug 17 2010 that outlines the complexities. It seems some of the slowness can be optimized by adding a version of remove() to the API that takes integers as an argument.
