The primary goal of this STR has been solved in 7691; keyboard nav of the tree. To get keyboard nav to work with 'fltk child widgets' is a harder issue to solve, and likely won't make it into 1.3.0. I'm going to close this, and open a new STR as an RFE for 1.4.0 to fix keynav for /child FLTK widgets/ in Fl_Tree, so that 1.3.0 can release.
