[STR Active] Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2456 Version: 1.3-current The previous fixing attempt did not work with underscore characters. Back to as it was before. The problem is that, under Linux, the bottom of one line is on the same pixel as the top of the next one when characters underscore and A with umlaut are considered. Thus, clearing the background enough to prepare for A with umlaut also clears any underscore that happens on the line above (see attached capture.png where pixels have been enlarged). This does not happen on Darwin + X11, though: the underscore does not collide with pixels from the next line. I see no solution. Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2456 Version: 1.3-current
