Also...

If you get the fltk-x2 download AND you have linux, try the x2-find
utility.

I started out using kdevelope for it's find function but x2-find (or
something like it) makes finding needles in haystacks quite simple.  Best
if you also have kate, but it allows using the built-in fltk editor if you
need it (default).
