Thanks. That said: Please specify which FLTK version you are using, and be more precise what you are trying to do. To get FL_KEYDOWN events, you must return 1 on FL_FOCUS events to become the Fl::focus() widget. Fl_Window widgets don't do that (AFAICT), so that you must do that in the handle() method of your derived class. If this doesn't solve your problem, please ask further questions in fltk.general and supply more info. The best would be a short program that can be compiled w/o anything else.
