occurs only under special circumstances and when linking shared (DLL).

Thanks for your comments, looking at the inheritance diagram (not the
code) it might be that other classes are also concerned, maybe
Fl_Multi_Browser and Fl_Select_Browser ?

I was aware that I duplicated some code (therefore the comments), but this
seemed to be the best way (with the least probability of breaking
something, now that we are reaching for the release of fltk 1.3). The
general idea is to avoid adding method implementations in files so that
they would use space although they are not used by the program, whereas
they must be available in the dll anyway. If this works with your proposed
inline keyword (in the method definition), then I'm all for it and this can
be done later. As you say, maybe not all compilers would support the inline
keyword, I don't know, so I'd like not to risk it for now. Anyway, many
thanks for the idea.

Matt, I'll work on a fix in the next 2-3 hours, so if you can wait with
the RC ...
