Hmm, looks like the output I reported as an STR (#1484) back in
October 2006:

..except mine built successfully (just a lot of warnings),
and yours failed building the 'cursor' test application.
The good news is it built the library correctly, so you
should be able to compile your own programs with FLTK as
it stands.
The cursor.cxx "test" application is 'optional' for compiling,
though someone definitely needs to fix that.
Also, maybe STR#1484 needs to be re-opened if those
'type punned' errors are still happening, so that it
gets resolved in 1.x.0, since it sounds like there may
be ABI implications to fix those warnings.
