We have a stable version, it's called 1.1.9. I've been using the 1.1.x series for years, and it's been very reliable. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of 2.x - I've been trying it on and off for years, and it has *always* let me down, to the extent that I seriously doubt fltk-2 is fixable now. It still has bugs that were fixed years ago in the 1.1.x series, and *nobody* is fixing them - over time I've posted a fair few STR's and patches on both trees, and only the 1.1.x ones seem to get cleared. > and the best thing for distracting both users > and devs is having two different implementations of the > project developed separately. I'm not sure there really *are* any devs - this is user supported, after all. I know Matthias and Yuri have been doing stuff to close off 1.1.9, and on 1.3, and there are few "concerned individuals" pitching in with bits and pieces here and there (Greg for example) but I've no idea who is working on 2.x these days... Is anybody? Still, nothing speaks louder than code, so if you have stuff to contribute, fire away!
