yes I posted them in text mode now, yahoo mail adds tags quite unfortunately.

Nicer API is one thing, efficient and robust API is something else.
My point here is (lead by experience believe me): don't try anymore to build 
new features on something as buggy as FLTK2. If you really want to make 
something for fltk2, try to make it stable and releasable as much as possible 
first. I started to do that and fixed hundreds of STRs until some team mate 
decided to changed thousands of buggy lines of code, to 'improve' the lib, 
that's why I'm a bit sarcastic today.

It is the only way to go if finally, fltk2 has a future, which I doubt 
currently.

Today, I believe fltk2 is a field of experimentation, interesting but hardly 
usable in a professional context.

Sorry to be a bit harsh Rafal, but those old fltk buddies here that followed 
the FLTK2 development years after years, will certainly understand me. I don't 
want to unmotivate you but only try to warn you with my own (quite long and 
painful) experience on this sad subject.
