Furthermore, Bill, I am just talking on IRC with a guy who contributed
few important patches to FLTK2, and here is what he says (interesting):

<traeak> taking a 64bit pointer value
<traeak> then tossing the upper 32bits
<traeak> and using that as a hash value
<traeak> or index value
<traeak> well...that's just wrong
<traeak> pixx 4407 0.0 0.1 1911562900 9744 pts/0 Sl+ Nov11
1:05 PictoVera
<traeak> there's my fltk gui running in production
<traeak> 1911562900
<traeak> that's 1.8TB ram
<traeak> addressed

If you are there, and willing to talk, come to irc://irc.oftc.net
(server: irc.oftc.net , channel: #fltk ) so we could discuss this
matter, and of course you are welcome to stay and help us build a good
community there (not just Bill, all are welcome :).

Kind regards
