After a few thoughts I think the best compromise would be to have: - a new, purely group-based widget class - lets say Fl_File_Dialog - ready for tweeking and subclassing, embedding in some other group/window etc
- backward compatible Fl_File_Chooser class (without base) which would just embed the above within additional double window and export members compatible with old Fl_File_Chooser. ??? R.
