I thought we already had (but I admit I never did check.)
OK - it is still commented out in the current svn...

I think we could take the chance and see what happens. I ran a build
with the comment removed for a while and all *seemed* to be OK, so I'd
say we go for it. If we keep an eye out for odd crashes, well, this
might be a place to look!
