Well, you can certainly checkout FLTK2 from Subversion, fix the simple stuff and send back patches, but... seeing as there are few FLTK2 developers to apply the patches, you might want to apply to become a developer yourself. IIRC there is a Request Developer Status button on the MyAccount tab on the web site.
