About image printing under MSWindows:
First, notice that Fl_RGB_Image's loose their transparency
(if they have one) when printed, by setting the button of the
image demo to yellow color: yellow appears through the image on
screen but not on paper.
I believe to have tried as hard as I could to have member function
Fl_Printer::print_widget() correctly print Fl_Pixmap's and
transparent Fl_RGB_Image's but I failed. I have decided to give up on
this objective because I believe it's not reasonably possible
since printer contexts reply SB_NONE to the call
GetDeviceFlags(fl_gc, SHADEBLENDCAPS).
Function Fl_Printer::print_window_part() provides, I think, a quite
satisfactory functional replacement of this missing feature.
I have described in the Doxygen doc of the Fl_Printer class
its limitations (that exist under MSWindows only) and the suggested
workaround.
