I can do it, but this will presumably take a while until it is done,
because I will only have a few spare hours this week. If nobody else
volunteers, I'll perhaps start tomorrow (Tuesday) evening.

svn r 7179 is okay, but changing fprintf to fputs doubled the "%"
characters. I dropped you a note about this already.
