Hi developers,

thanks to Manolo's excellent work (and Roman Kantor's previous
work in the fltk 1.2 branch) we do now have a working printing
support for all platforms, together with the long planned device
abstraction layer in a first stage. This is limited to "simple"
routing of all drawing calls through a virtual Fl_Device class,
so that there is not much new code involved.

All test results look good, there are no known problems.

Now it is time to merge the development branch [1] with the main
1.3 branch to get the benefit of this into normal development and
broader testing.

I'm ready to do the merge, but we need your votes to do this,
according to the CMP, and because it is a really new feature.

Please give your votes for the following two questions:

(1) Is it okay to do the merger ?

(2) Should it be done ASAP ?

ASAP would mean as soon as there are enough votes to do it, i.e.
I'll do it when there are 4 positive votes (and I can find the
time). I set the limit to 4 because there are currently about
6 active developers around (AFAICT). This would probably be before
the next Friday's snapshot. Otherwise I'll do it in about a week
(Mar 20-21), if question (1) is answered positive.

Thanks for your testing and your votes.

Albrecht
