Can't post from here, due to firewall constraints etc., so that's probably not going to work. I'm just using the older stable mingw (usually gcc-3.4.5 or some have gcc-3.4.2), with Msys, on a variety of winXP and Vista hosts, and not seeing this zombie at all...
