Heh, yeah. My current .vimrc has tabstops set to 4 and indents also set
to 4, which was mostly capricious, but that's easily changed.

I've got access to a few different flavours of linux
(fedora/arch/ubuntu), Windows XP/Vista/7 and OS X (Snow Leopard),
although I can't remember if my XP boot is currently in working
condition or not - although maybe I set that up in a vbox.....

Yeah, that's why I put in my own application - I figured maybe if I did
my best to clean out the bugs that I can and, in time, move the 2.0
branch along, others would hopefully join in on the fun too! Although I
do appreciate that this would probably be a difficult application to
make a decision on, given that there aren't really any devs currently on
the 2.0 bandwagon.

Thanks for the help/advice so far.

Regards,
Ben
