I can see the same effect as in 1.3 before the fix in test/gl_overlay: when I move the "Overlay" slider, all is well, but if I move the "Sides" slider, then the gray "sides" object disappears (Ubuntu 9.10 in a WinXP/virtualbox VM). +1 for backporting the *corrected* fix (no __linux__ macro). > Are there other recent 1.3 bug fixes we need to consider for back-porting?
