Hmm, I thought you referred to your edit in r 8835 in test1/makedepend:

-unittests.o: ../fltk3/Plugin.h Preferences.h ../FL/Fl_Preferences.H
+unittests.o: ../fltk3/Plugin.h ../FL/Fl_Preferences.H

*This* removed "Preferences.h" dependency was on test1/Preferences.h,
but was probably wrong anyway (as I suspected, probably hand-edited).
