FLTK does not support DirectX "natively" since it is not a portable API, and the fltk core has to work on all platforms. The "preferred" solution therefore is to use GL. There's an add on packaged listed in the links pages for "Fl_D3D_Window" that implements DirectX in a fltk window, much like Fl_GL_Window does, but Greg notes that it has gone stale, i.e. the links no longer work. http://www.fltk.org/links.php?V98+Qdirectx I did play with this package a bit a while back, and it worked fine - it calls up D7, but IIRC I tested with D9 and it was OK, or at least worked with trivial mods. That said I switched to GL anyway, so never used it much. If you are really stuck, I could see if I still have a copy lying around, but probably GL is a safer option... _______________________________________________ fltk-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.easysw.com/mailman/listinfo/fltk-dev
