Hello !

I have no problem, when Cairo/Pango is helping FLTK to support Unicode and I18n better, but please do not drop the standard X11 stuff. I am not an embedded systems developer, but FLTK is really one of the last GUI toolkits that allows to code small utilities, that do not have big dependency lists. QT was never a gui toolkit, it is an application suite. GTK was once small and lightweight, but it has gone the same way as QT. I have no problem with that, a desktop needs rich multimedia apis, best combined in one library, instead of having hundreds.
