Two questions:
1) Is there a way to get a list of all the tags in fltk 1.3?
ie. something like the following, but that doesn't have to be
run on the easysw server:
http://blog.amnuts.com/2007/08/14/getting-a-list-of-project-tags-from-subversion/
2) is the SVN rev# for releases somewhere in the release tar file?
If not, perhaps the CHANGES file would be a good place for it,
eg. along with the date of release, the svn rev#, eg:

CHANGES IN FLTK 1.3.0
Date: Jul xx, 2011 <-- ADD
Svn: r884x <-- ADD
New Features
- Added UTF-8 Unicode support throughout FLTK and Fluid
- Added Fl_Tree widget for hierarchical views
