DotPet is the latest version of Puppy Linux's package management system. It is
a click/install/package registration system. e.g. the FLTK dotpet which I have
just compiled and packaged, is simply clicked on to install and register
automatically in Puppy.

The reason I suggested that FLTK includes this dotpet is that it looks as if
Puppy Linux is about to take off and become ubiquitous. It would be a big help
if a potential user could simply download the dotpet and auto-install FLTK.
It's only a small compressed package of about 1.2MB including Fluid. It could
just sit alongside the other source/binary FLTK packages with others such as
RPM's DEB's TGZ's etc. A good excuse also for Puppy for users to visit FLTK's
site instead of relying exclusively on Puppy's own download offerings. Puppy
Linux badly needs a good C++ development system. FLTK is ideal for that.

If this download can be made available here at FLTK, I'll make an announcement
in the Puppy Linux forum. I think FLTK it will be very much appreciated and
used by the community there - a terrific partnership I would think. Look here:
