Is anti aliased drawing of lines and curves and shapes something that
would be possible to have as a feature in the next generation of fltk?
And transparency? And shaded drawing? Of course these kind of things are
not of interest to all users, but sometimes when I create own drawing of
special objects it would have been much easier to get a great looking
result with some extra drawing functionality. I'm currently using 1.x,
and haven't been following the feature enhancements for 2.x so forgive
me if it's already in there.

About support for 1.x / 2.x. I don't think maintaining 1.x would take
many hours away from 2.x development, would it? I think there are many
many developers who would be unhappy with completely dropped support for
1.x.

Then about when the users of fltk will switch to 2.x. Personally I will
switch when 2.x is stabilized and have features I find useful for my
projects. For the moment I don't *need* to switch. 1.x is very useful
and works really, really well. Fltk rule! =)
