Owen, This howto may be relevant - perhaps you have read it already:
http://www.fltk.org/articles.php?L598 > > Then I tired various ./config runs, mainly > > ./config --prefix=z:/ That would be "./configure" of course, NOT "./config". I assume that's just a typo on your part? If you are in an Msys shell. "z:/" is almost certainly not a valid path I guess? Something like "/z" is more likely to be correct. However, if you are unfamiliar with the msys/mimgw setup and it little quirks, what I would advocate would be installing Msys itself on your Z: drive (e.g. at Z:/msys/...) then *not* setting a prefix at all at build time. The install will then go to where Msys *thinks* /usr/local/... is at - which in your case would actually be Z:/Msys/1.0/local/... The advantage of that, for all subsequent builds from within Msys, is that it can fix up the paths for you, so that /usr/local/lib /usr/local/share and so forth *appear* to be where the tools expect them to be... Also, if you are trying to build from an svn checkout, rather than from a tarball, you probably want to run autoconf the first time before you run configure. > I am unable to run make, with various errors. Are the tools actaully working in general? I mean, can you build other c/c++ code OK with them, etc...? This should all Just Work (TM) - it does for me, as recently as this morning...
