You haven't told us what compiler toolchain you are using. Although that
shouldn't matter, since 1.1.7 mostly worked fine.

Can you grab one of the recent 1.1.8 snapshots and build that, see if it
also manifests this fault.

So you are saying that the fltk demo apps from the test folder also
manifest this bug?

'Fraid to say I think it is just you. That said, there were some reports
of (some older fltk version, possibly 1.1.7, or 1.1.6, or maybe one of
the fltk2 snapshots, I can't really remember...) producing rendering
artefacts with certain display drivers - seems to have been some display
driver specific feature though. Now fixed?

So, some things to try:

- do all the computers you are testing on have the same graphics
card/driver combination? If so, can you test an a machine with a
different graphics card type?

- can you build one of the fltk-1.1.8 weekly snapshots and see what that
does?

- what tools are you building with?
