[fltk.general] Widgets inside tabs not working

Nothing seems to work inside tabs I create using Fl_Group and everything
similar to that given in "tabs.cxx".
Yet when I copy & paste codes in tabs.cxx they work well.
Note: All the widget pointers in my code are global.
