Actually, I have a feeling what I actually did was (pretty nasty!)
override the draw() method... Then each time I got a draw, I checked the
vertical positions and, if necessary, "corrected" them, before calling
the base class draw. But I don't recall what I actually tested for. I
may have been testing "position_" against the widget height or
something? I can't remember.
Or something like that.
