I'm not sure what you are asking, but you need to remember that the co-ordinate origin for widgets drawn within a child window differs from the co-ordinate origin for widgets drawn within a child group, so maybe your coordinates are wrong and your drawing is being drawn OK, but in the wrong place, so is clipped and you don't see it?
