I'd be +1 on this - particularly if it is easy to do (or someone  
other than me does it!)

Testing on this mac suggests that it is "normal" for tooltips to stay  
up even after the mouse moves. The mac tooltips seem to be dismissed  
once the cursor leaves the widget *or* after a timeout, which seems  
to be about 7~8 seconds.

Yup, this mac does the same - so maybe that is what people consider  
normal? I don't feel strongly about this one either way.
