Fltk-2 contains many new, improved, but sometimes still experimental
improvements... But I can not say if it will ever become stable now, it
has been in flux for many years.

Fltk-1.3 is an attempt to bring together the stability of fltk-1.1 with
some of the improvements from fltk-2, and at present seems to be largely
stable. 1.3 is wgat I use most of the time now, and it appears to be
working out OK so far. There has been a lot of work done recently to
enhance its documentation, for example, so it is progressing.
