There are no fltk functions to support that, as there are (currently) so
many different way to do this, it really depends quite a lot on what
desktop environment and even what WM you are running.

I did a quick demo of coding that for win32
(http://www.9edgedown.talktalk.net/fl_tray_icon.html) and there have
been various posts here (which I can not now find) showing how to do it
for various *nix platforms, so searching the archive ought to find some
examples.
