Both the fltk-1.3 and fltk-2 trees work fine on XP or Vista. We don't distribute zip files of the w.i.p. snapshots simply because zip is not as efficient a means of storing a directory tree as either tar.gz or tar.bz2 are. Why would you think these libs are unix only? I can't imagine there are many compressed-file tools around these days that do not know how to handle tar.gz format, are there? Certainly Winzip and 7-zip both do, and 7-zip handles bz2 as well, of course.
