Yes, it is possible. I do it all the time. I suspect what you are really asking is "Does fltk provide wrapper functions for saving images as JPEG, PNG..." and the answer to that is no, it does not. However, it is really easy to recover the image data from your Fl_Image and just write that out yourself - both the PNG and JPEG tarballs (and docs) contain examples of saving an array of data as an image, and it is easy to get the image data. These two HowTo's show ways of reading back the "raw" image data: http://www.fltk.org/articles.php?L466 http://www.fltk.org/articles.php?L468 And then saving that to a file is straightforward. I recommend PNG for starters, FWIW...
