greetings, (fltk 1.1.9)

i am a bit confused about the feature called hotspots.
any widget can be a hotspot which means "Center the window
under this widget" in fluid. which window? the window which
contains the hotspot? pop-ups? any window? what center?
the screens center? centered beneath the mousepointer?

why can i have multiple hotspots? what does it mean to have
more that one hotspot?

i'd like to have a certain dialog to always appear centered
of my main window.
i'd like some other windows to always appear centered below
the mousepointer.

is that possible using hotspots? in a consistent way for
linux/windows/mac? how?

what role do hotspots play in the window management (what
do they "tell" the window manager)?

thank you very much,
JanE
