Possibly. What transparency do you need? If it is for the application icon, then there are workarounds for sending transparency hints and masks to the WM that will fix it. If it is for images in your app., then I can't recall if it works in 1.1.9 or not... Anybody? What is it you are try to do? There may be things to try, or worked example to crib from. Some of this has been enhanced in the 1.3.x series, so you *might* get better behaviour with that (note that 1.3.x is largely similar to the 1.1.x series, so any RGB customisation you have already made should be applicable too.)
