And huge menus are a Bad Thing anyway, in terms of user interaction and
so forth.
Maybe you need to find another way to present this information to the
user to make the selection - a large scrollable menu may be a poor
choice.

I thought you (Michael) were on some sort of embedded device? In which
case the idea of a large menu, or a drop-down box, or even scrollbars,
seems even less appropriate.
Perhaps we can think of something better?
