Edzard has already pointed out the fltk-way using the fl_open_uri() function so that is probably the best bet, at least for HMTL and similar inputs... > > Anyone have any pointers for Mac printing, or more in-depth Mac FLTK > development resources? For printing, there was a recent discussion over in fltk.development "Printing support for fltk-1.3" starting here - http://www.fltk.org/newsgroups.php?gfltk.development+v:8339 That provides a patch that gets printing going with fltk-1.3. I don't know how complete OSX support is, but the Fl_DEV patch on which it is based did work on OSX. Might work for you. As far as MAC fltk development - well, it's just the same as any other unix really, more or less... I don't think there are any specific resources, though there are a few things around to help with making OSX bundles (f;tk-config can make a basic bundle under 1.3, Greg has some hints here http://www.seriss.com/people/erco/fltk/ #MacBundle and my run at it is here http://www.9edgedown.talktalk.net/ fltk/flbundle.tgz.) Other than the bundle stuff, if you stay "inside" fltk, it really doesn't mater that you are on a Mac at all (part of the reason I use fltk is that I don't want to get too bogged down in platform details...) _______________________________________________ fltk mailing list [email protected] http://lists.easysw.com/mailman/listinfo/fltk
