After looking into this more, indeed that *is* where those
global functions are documented:
Modules -> File names and URI functions
I'll see if there's a good way to indicate in those
which file(s) need to be #include'ed.
Since these global function definitions appear to be
scattered around in different files, not just one,
each function should probably indicate which file
to #include.
