That certainly doesn't do what you want. FLTK calls this when the
widget loses the focus (to let you do things that are appropriate
when the focus is lost). It doesn't _change_ the focus.

You probably want widget->visible_focus(0) on a widget basis [1],
or if you really want it for all widgets, maybe
Fl::visible_focus(0) [2].

If this doesn't solve your problem, please tell us what you
want to achieve exactly.

There's no 1.6, you probably mean 1.1.6.  Current is 1.1.10 -
you should consider upgrading to this stable (and final) 1.1
release.
