Yup. However, for largely historical reasons (e.g. that the original FLTK API was modeled after the old Forms library API and various opther factors...) the simplest way to display lists of text is via the browser widgets. The TextDisplay widget was added later, and is really a "read-only" text editor widget, and is substantially more complex to set up and manipulate... Unless you really need the functionality it provides (and in this case I do not think that you do) I would avoid it. > Do you have any ideas why the original code snippet doesnt work?
