Not as such - for various reasons, my most recent Mac is currently frozen at 10.4.11 or so, so I don't have much useful to say about 10.6/SL or etc... (though of course others around here do!) That said, 1.1.7 is pretty old, and there were changes leading up to 1.1.10 that pertain to OSX support, so it may be that there is some historic "feature" that is exposed by the upgrades to the 10.6 series...? Also, I don't know what (if any) porting work the fink people may have done, so it is possible that there's something unusual there. Can you try with a "stock" 1.1.10 build, or maybe even a 1.3.x snapshot (which ought to be source-code compatible) and see how that flies? There have been a lot of changes relating to OSX rendering in the 1.3.x series, mainly to work around the fact that OSX 10.6 deprecated a lot of the Carbon API's we were using (in 1.1.7 for example) for graphics... I suppose it is possible that something in that (the deprecation of the Carbon API's in 10.6) that relates to the problem you are seeing? Other than that, I don't know what to suggest...
