It should function the same way as before. There are no deliberate changes in that regard - though there may be bugs, of course! If you can produce a minimal, complete, compileable example that exhibits the aberrant behaviour, post it here for folks to look at. Note that a mailing list is not quite the same thing as an "email alert" - mailing lists are an ancient and venerable component of the internet and predate the modern web by a long time... However, in answer to your question: The lists (by default) send one email per message, but you may have selected "digest mode" when you signed up, in which case you will get one big email with all the days messages concatenated. Replying to messages in digest mode is a real pain - you need to: - hit "reply" in your email client - change the subject line to something relevant (i.e. not just "digest of...") - cut away all the other irrelevant messages - type in your reply If you reply to a digest message without doing all of that, you will probably be flamed mercilessly (maybe not on this list, but certainly on most lists.) Possibly better to switch to non-digest mode in that case - the volume of emails on this list is pretty low, so it's not that big a deal. Then you just reply to the email and it Just Works like normal. If you want to post a new message, simply send an email to [email protected] and it will be circulated by the list servers automatically (and added to the web forums, newsgroups, etc...) If you have selected digest mode and decide you'd like to change, you can log in to your mailing list account and change your preferences there.
