Yes, OP is looking at a very old compiler and equally old version
of FLTK (1.0, circa 1999).
FLTK 1.0 is very old
FLTK 1.1 was the stable version up until recently.. slowing being
displaced by 1.3.
However, 1.3 still has an open issue with building under VS 6.0; see
STR#2521
for patches to get 1.3 to build on VS 6.0.
