Did you see Albrecht's reply here: http://www.fltk.org/newsgroups.php?gfltk.general+v:32180 As he suggests, it is probably easier to get mingw/Msys working than cygwin - follow the links he posted and it is all explained. Alternately, download from Microsoft the free version of VS2010 and use that (I don't much like the VS tools myself, but others report good results with them!) Either of these tools is probably easier to get started with than cygwin, as things are at present.
