Yup - it is quite common for GUI updates and event delivery to block
during window move/resize operations, and this is in the domain of the
WM rather than fltk, so there's not much we can do about it, in general.

And even if it does work for you on one system/WM combination, there's
no guarantee that it will work for others.

Not sure - can you describe what you are trying to achieve, maybe
someone knows a way to get there...

Receiving/processing events whilst the window is resizing is *not* a
very common scenario though, so you may be pushing the edges of what's
feasible.
