the _popen()  in win32 will display the output only after command has been 
completed.

if you want atleast line-by-line display output of command , in Win32 ,
use PeekNamedPipe(..) function to read the pipe read end of a namedpipe..

in fact , it is somewhat windows specific and unix code examples can be taken 
as guideline only.

this is what i have done for a testing of pipe under windows .
there may be other solutions (like add_fd) , but information on this topic is 
very minimal , AFAIK .
