First off, note that Fl_Help_View is *not* a web-browser, it is "just" an HTML viewer, so if you *need* a web-browser, you will need to look elsewhere. I suggest that dillo is worth a look - the latest dev builds have been ported to fltk-1.3 and would be compatible. If you just need to serve up local HTML files, that ought to work. Is it possible for you to run the "help" demo from the test/ folder on your target? Does it work adequately? You may need to fiddle about with paths to get it to find the fltk docs to view, of course; note that setting the env var FLTK_DOCDIR to some suitable path *might* help with this... If the help demo works for you, it may be the formatting of your html that's causing issues - the dialect of html that Fl_Help_View knows may not be what you expect. Um, other than that, not sure what to suggest... You need to build fltk with image support, obviously, and make sure that png, zlib and jpeg are in your build. You also need to call "fl_register_images()" somewhere need the start of your code to make sure the image support is enabled... I guess that's about all I can suggest.
