So you're using FLTK 1.3, right? This would be the right selection.

Oh yes, this description (option -mwindows) is for gcc, i.e.
MinGW or Cygwin. For the MSVC projects this should read
/subsystem:windows or /subsystem:console, respectively, and
this option must be set somewhere in the Linker Options.

You should be able to find it in the original FLTK project.
If you select a "Debug" build, then it should be set to
"console", otherwise ("Release" build) to "windows".

If this doesn't help, please ask again.
